 Hello,

I bet you're all wondering who this mysterious traveller is... A man who’s created his own blog to flex the holidays he’s been on. 

You would be spot on! 

My ego has decided that it is about time I told the world about my experiences traveling Europe and believes that people will read and learn about how to do it right but most importantly for cheap!

Over the course of the next few weeks, I will be taking you on a cultural experience that will make you say 'blimey that looks cracking.' and 'an Aperol spritz for 3 euros, please do tell us more.' 

Hopefully you will learn somethings about how to travel on a budget whilst still making the most of your time away and you never know you might even learn some things about yourself too. 

Anyway, now you've read this far you might as well give the first post a read. We're off to Budapest where you can see the effects of telling your girlfriend too many jokes about being Hungary!

  Ben in Rome The last stop on this whirlwind tour of Europe is what you’ve all been waiting for. The home of Pizza and Aperol, Italia (Italy for the single-lingual of you). This was the biggest trip of the 5 where we spent 14 days travelling from north to south with nothing but the shoes on our back, the clothes on our feet, and a whole lot of google translate. Glasgow - The Student City

  A pint of T please   Time for a bit of a switch up in locations we are headed to a city on home soil, a place I’ve lived for the past 3 years as a student and I think deserves a mention. Glasgow. I’ll start of with a story about my first day as a student in the city where I headed off to a local bar to grab a pint and explore the city. The local beer in Scotland is Tennents and the logo on the pump is a massive red T. Seeing this I think my subconscious thought I know a way I can really lean into the English southerner stereo type. “Alright pal what can I get for ya.” “Alright mate I’ll have a pint of T please.” “Do you want sugar with that.” I had no idea what he was talking about, I just saw a look of disgust and slowly clocked what I’d asked him for. 3 years on and I’ve gotten used to the lingo but my Scottish accent still needs a bit of work. Croatia - How to party on Hvar!

  5 Englishmen walk into Hvar…   Croatia was the latest excursion that we ventured on. We spent 12 days exploring the coastline country a place where a lot of Game of Thrones was filmed apparently (there was a lot of themed food and drink). We did 6 days in Split including an eventful stopover partying on Hvar and 6 days in Dubrovnik. Croatia has a lot of influence from Italy, so it was back on the winning pizza, Aperol combination. No complaints. Spent a lot of time exploring the old town in Split and I tried to haggle a Croatia flag towel. Unfortunately, she was better at haggling than me, so I walked away with a very nice, full price towel. No complaints. Me on said towel. Spent a night partying on Hvar, I think? Apparently we had a great time. No complaints. Few more games of cards, the hair of a Croatian dog and we were on the road to Dubrovnik. London prices. You won’t save your money. Few complaints.
